Typically, trust grapples are constructed from a single piece of aluminum, and this is then machined and shaped to wrap around the truss chords. The primary problem with this method is that it limits the point of connection to a singular truss stick due to the diagonal formation of the truss ladder – so when two solid aluminum grapples are placed together, they hit these diagonal members. In many ways, this defeats or at least limits the entire purpose of having a grapple, which is meant to provide for as many connection points on a truss as possible.

A truss grapple is a convenient alternative to using corner blocks for connecting truss rods. A corner block limits the truss connection to the ends, whereas a grapple is meant to enable a greater amount of connection points. Our truss grapples, however, suffer from no such limitations. Unlike others produced by other manufacturers, ours can be connected from literally anywhere.

If you want to run one stick of truss against another, then our grapples ensure that you can do so by keeping the truss stick on the same horizontal plane and just running it sideways.

We’ve created an ultra-convenient and no-fuss grapple that can grab any truss from anywhere. The way our grapples have been created means that they can be used with any and all truss sizes. For example, you could run a 12-inch stick of truss to a 20-inch truss or vice versa without having to worry about incompatibility between your grapple and your truss.
